Made for the checkout queue

Kardo does one thing well: get the right barcode on screen before the cashier asks.

📷

Scan once

Point the camera at a card and Kardo reads the barcode and its type. A torch helps in dim light.

☀️

Bright and big

Opening a card turns the screen brightness up, so tills read the barcode first time.

🎨

Store colors

Type “Albert Heijn” or “Kruidvat” and the card takes the store's color by itself.

📌

Pinned and recent first

Pin the cards you use every week. The rest are sorted by when you last used them.

🧩

Home Screen widget

Your top cards on the Home Screen. One tap opens the barcode.

👨‍👩‍👧

Share with family

Send a card over WhatsApp or Messages. With Kardo, it's added in one tap.

Your cards in Apple Wallet, too

One tap on “Add to Apple Wallet” turns any Kardo card into a real Wallet pass, in the store's colors. Open Wallet at the till and it's there, on your Apple Watch too.

  • Works with QR, Code 128, PDF417 and Aztec cards
  • Supermarket EAN-13 cards on iOS 27 and later
  • Kardo keeps the card too, so it's never in just one place

Your cards are yours

Other card apps want an account, show ads or track what you buy. Kardo doesn't, and never will.

Questions

Is Kardo really free?

Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads.

Which cards work?

Any card with a barcode or QR code: supermarkets, drugstores, DIY stores, libraries, gyms. Kardo reads EAN, UPC, Code 128, QR, PDF417 and Aztec codes.

Can I add my cards to Apple Wallet?

Yes. Open a card and tap “Add to Apple Wallet”. QR, Code 128, PDF417 and Aztec cards work on any recent iPhone; EAN-13 cards, which most supermarkets use, need iOS 27 or later. To create the pass, Kardo sends that one card to our server to be signed; it isn't stored.

What if I get a new phone?

With iCloud on, your cards come over by themselves. You can also export a backup file and restore it.

Is it on Android?

Not for now. Kardo is made for iPhone.
